Of Course Fashion Matters!

I could go on about the different elements that fashion can represent (individuality, freedom, life, etc) but I won't because that would be looking too much into it. Fashion is simple, it should come naturally and be seen and understood at first glance. Fashion is eye catching without reason, and arises in us a feeling that we cannot supress: that urge to constantly shop and be updated on the latest trends. Fashion matters because people make it matter. It is materialistic as anything but that doesn't devalue it in any sense. Whether we want to or not, we often times judge people based on the clothes that they wear, even if this is an unconscious decision. That is why fashion is so powerful, it has meaning equivalent to an unspoken language and only exists because we love the very idea of it.
