YIGAL AZROUEL ON WHY FASHION MATTERS

Last week, Hirshleifers held a charitable event celebrating Long Island based Sunrise Day Camp, the only day camp for children with cancer in the country. Renowned fashion designer, Yigal Azrouel, made an appearance at the event, and I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to ask him why fashion matters to him! The “self-taught designer” told me that he had learned the fundamentals of design by exploring art through personal experiences in life. Born and raised in Israel, Yigal is a very spiritual and creative person whose contributions and words are a clear expression of his appreciation for people, beauty and fashion. A truly generous and caring man, Yigal believes that an important aspect of life is giving back. He communicates a passion for helping others through body, mind, soul and spirit, and has a unique ability to connect with people that is genuinely whole-hearted. Yigal Azrouel believes that fashion is an art form of self-expression that enables him to bring beauty to life. His contribution to the Sunrise Day Camp serves a great cause, giving children with cancer the opportunity of a life time to experience camp. We truly appreciate having him here and are excited in that he has assured us that we can expect more great things from him in the future, as he continues to give back as well as design clothing that is beautiful!
